Laborers' Local #185 understands that because of the obligation we bear in
advocating for workers, the relationship between an employer and the Union
can become contentious.

With that said, in an effort to responsibly advocate for its members, while
maintaining a working relationship with signatory employers, the staff of
Laborers' Local # 185 has dedicated itself to providing professional
Labor/Management solutions.

Whether it be an arbitration, a grievance panel, or a negotiated settlement, the
staff of Laborers' Local #185 endeavors to reach common ground
between parties to resolve job site issues. This effort not only assists our
members, but delivers swift, reasonable, and cost-effective dispute resolutions
to our signatory employers.
