• Contruction and General Laborers Local 185 is a construction craft union.
  We were chartered in 1929. We are here to stay.
• Most of our members work for building contractors, general engineering
  contractors and specialty subcontractors, but we also have members that are
  covered by site agreements (plants, factories, etc.).
• Our members are recognized as professionals within the industry.
• Construction and General Laborers Local 185 is 5,000 members strong.
  We are your family, friends and neighbors.
• We understand that the working class people of California are it's foundation.
